I'm not saying software is dead or anything.
But I'm a pretty curious person, just not technical at all, and I run my own business hands-on. The way I deal with my business problems that can be solved with software has changed a lot.
A few years ago I'd go looking for out of the box apps and they'd only solve like half the actual issue.
Now I can figure out the real problem, throw it in a prompt in Gemini, then vibe code something on Claude or Antigravity, push it to GitHub and deploy it on Vercel. And no it's not complicated to maintain.
Like I built a custom web app so my client can quote themselves / a purchase order visualizer so my team can see what's coming and when / a demand planning software + all the random side hustles I'm trying to push.
And since I'm doing it for way less money, that revenue just stays with me instead of going to some software company
That's just my reality and it's probably the same for millions of others entrepreneurs
It was fun to build in under 30mn.
I used to struggle with attention deficit so i vibed coded a custom Chrome extension to brutally force myself into deep work.
Try to open a blacklisted site during focus hours, and you get hit with a wall of mini-games and math puzzles that take 7 minutes to complete. By the time you finish, you're too lazy to procrastinate anyway.

@abstrakt314@playcanvas yes now it's a bit more clear I've seen so many tweets saying that this works with a simple phone but yeah As always... it's more complicated
- Bikes ruin youth morals (1890s)
- Cars kill chickens (1900s)
- Phones wreck nerves (1870s)
- Radios hypnotize kids (1930s)
- Planes are impossible (1903)
- Tesla FSD is more dangerous that a human driver (2026-EU)
History repeats.
This will be laughable in a few years' time, mark my words
WooCommerce + MCP + Google Antigravity . Done. I will probably never have to write / modifiy a page again. And I can just talk to Google Antigravity IDE to modify pages. πͺ
@TSLA_inside_ I am so incredibly happy for the Dutch, but also incredibly jealous. I don't understand why local authorities in other countries in Europe are so freaking slow.
