@FitFounder Have you tried intermittent fasting by skipping dinner instead?
Eating earlier in the day (morning and early afternoon) worked best for me in controlling intake and weight.
When I ate lunch and dinner instead, I actually gained weight.
Daily reminder to self: Just because I've said it doesn't mean they've heard it.
The gap between communication and comprehension is real.
Simply delivering a message doesn't guarantee that the listener has understood, absorbed - or even heard it.
People process information differently depending on their current focus, emotions, or mental state.

Apparently Stanley Kubrick thought the film was the most terrifying film he had seen ๐คฏ
From IMDb: โAccording to director George Sluizer, director Stanley Kubrick called him after seeing Spoorloos (1988) to tell him it was the most terrifying film he had ever seen.
He had seen it ten times then, and was impressed by the film's structure and ending, as well as the performance of actress Johanna ter Steege.โ
False.
As a data-driven person, I came to appreciate more the speed of decisions based on instinct when made by someone with lots of experience.
Data-driven decisions tend obviously to be more accurate but have some other issues: (1) take more time, (2) data is often incomplete or unreliable anyways, and (3) assuming you have โgood data,โ you must be knowledgeable enough to ask the right questions.
Product management is both an art and a science.

I grew up in my parents' small business.
I saw them taking business calls on the beach during the summer holidays.
And I saw them taking an impromptu day off to meet a relative in a city a few hours away.
I always thought that Work-Life Balance was a slight misnomer, as it's often used to mean somewhat strict segregation of working time vs family time.
As a kid, I witnessed what I'd call ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ-๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป.
This past weekend, I found out that a recent study is backing up this approach!
From Simon Sinek:
"Employees who are most disengaged from work rarely if ever do work in the evenings or on weekends.
Employees who are at high risk for burnout do too much work in the evenings or on weekends.
๐ But the best, happiest, and most engaged employees actually like to do some work on the occasional evening or weekend.
And the reason is simple: they care. They care a lot. And they really like doing the little extra to help themselves, their colleagues, and the company stay on top of things."

@KateBour I read somewhere that sharing your goals publicly might provide enough of a boost in dopamine to decrease the likelihood of pursuing them.
Is that a real thing? Whatโs called, and does a play a role here?
@KateBour@AlexHormozi I guess thatโs left to oneโs own judgment.
Iโd say Character is a function of things like Integrity, Courage, Empathy, Work Ethic, Generosity, Discipline.
So I think he is saying to avoid engaging in debate with people with less Character.
I love both of your content ๐
@carlvellotti I remember reading a study about how employees who have a positive attitude towards the ambitious goals set by senior leaders are better perceived regardless of their ability actually to achieve the goals.
