A Dangerous Stray dog attacks two girls on a bike without provocation in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, causing the bike & the girls to fall down.
It doesn't let go even after the girls try to beat it to defend themselves.
High chances of it being a rabid dog.
Thank God for the savior.
@Sammy40894@JioMart@jagograhakjago@JioCare Jio care customer care is pathetic. I have learnt the lesson to always choose cod else they will drain the energy in recovering own money.
An example from the past illustrating how UGC rules, if implemented, can be weaponised to settle personal vendettas:
Dr. Vaibhav Jain was a meritorious student at Indore Medical College in 2012. His MBBS classmate, Neha Verma, asked him to fill the medical entrance exam form again and sit behind her sister Pooja in the exam to tell her answers and help her pass. Vaibhav refused.
Neha got angry and retaliated by creating a fake Facebook profile in his name and uploading obscene content, then implicated him under the SC/ST Act, alleging he used casteist slurs. Vaibhav spent 50 days in jail and even took his second-year exams in handcuffs. Despite completing MBBS, the case blocked his chances of a govt job.
He fought a six-year legal battle before being acquitted. But imagine the trauma, embarrassment, struggle, and stigma he and his family endured for no fault of theirs.
UGC rules add an internal, low-threshold complaint route where allegations can trigger immediate academic or administrative action without rigorous scrutiny. Along with the SC/ST Act, this can be used to escalate pressure and settle scores faster.
This is my home in Kashmir right on the banks of River Jhelum. The place I took my first steps, spoke my first words. Gone since the 1990 Genocide. A Muslim family lives there illegally. I have tried for 2.5 years, submitted all papers to the Govt but every time, local officials say 'No home at that address'.
My mother still clutches the old key. Please help. Share and amplify my plea. Maybe, one day, justice will return our world to us. 🙏🏼🕉️🚩
This claim that Chandragupta Maurya married a “Seleucid Greek princess named Durdhara,” whose son was Bindusara and whose lineage produced Ashoka, is a textbook example of historical confusion stitched together from unrelated fragments.
First, the statement that Chandragupta’s “Greco-Roman name was Sandrokoptos” is misleading: Greek writers such as Strabo, Arrian, Plutarch and Justin merely rendered his Sanskrit name phonetically as Sandrokottos or Sandracottus, just as Bindusara appears in Greek sources as Amitrochates (from Sanskrit Amitraghāta), which reflects linguistic transcription rather than a “Greek name” (Strabo, Geographica XV; Arrian, Indica; Plutarch, Life of Alexander 62; Justin, Epitome of the Philippic History of Pompeius Trogus XV.4).
The second error is the conflation of two entirely different traditions. Durdhara appears in the Jain narrative of Hemachandra’s Pariśiṣṭaparvan as an Indian queen of Chandragupta and the mother of Bindusara (Hemachandra, Pariśiṣṭaparvan, VIII), not a Seleucid princess.
Greek and Roman writers instead record that after the Mauryan victory over Seleucus I Nicator around 303 BCE, a diplomatic treaty was concluded in which Seleucus gave a daughter in marriage to Chandragupta (Strabo, Geographica XV.2.9; Appian, Syriaca 55).
Crucially, no primary source records her name, nor do they state she was the mother of Bindusara. Chronology itself disproves the viral narrative: Bindusara had already been born around the time of the Seleucid treaty, making it impossible for the Seleucid princess to be his mother.
Finally, Buddhist sources such as the Mahāvaṃsa identify the mother of Ashoka as an Indian woman named Dharma (or Subhadrangi), not a Greek princess (Mahāvaṃsa V; Raychaudhuri, Political History of Ancient India).
In other words, your post messes up three separate facts; Greek transliteration of names, a diplomatic marriage alliance after the Seleucid war, and later Jain narratives about Durdhara by fabricating it into genealogy that neither Greek, Jain, nor Buddhist primary sources support.
Dear general category male students,
Remember, this the fight for your life, fight for your future. We have passed out from our colleges, universities and have very limited stake other than that of our kids who are toddlers.
This UGC guideline is a whip that will not only take the flesh of your body, but the very soul of the nation: your collective shaming at a place where you should be building great things for India.
So, I did my part. I wrote and spoke for last 11 days, relentlessly keeping everything at stake. Friends mocked me, ideological adversaries laughed at and party kept mum. Now mainstream media has been forced to pick up.
It's your time now. Go to UGC, stand for what's your right of a free campus, without the fear of a law that is based on a data of 0.004% of affected students, tell them they can't take away your friendship, freedom, research and results away from you.
You need to fight this out on road as the government is busy making committees to calm you down. But double down this time. A bunch of political retards, aiming to cement their political legacy on the whimsical idea of unproven injustices on so-called dalits, shouldn't be allowed to play with your lives, and by an extention, the nation itself.
Protest to protect your future.
So, @HDFCERGOGIC gets all my documents through its officers Vivek, Pawan, Pushpendra and others in December. We exchanged 10 emails, I provided every single document of my mother’s ’liver cirrohossis’ and hospitalisation of 7 days, but HDFC finds this as ‘drug induced fever’.
In its ‘closure document’ it stated 5 emails sent to me (in October) asking additional documents which, they claim, I didn’t send. However, I have proof that I uploaded each one of them. Additionally, I talked to the whole series of individuals from HDFC and gave them all documents (and anything else they desired from hospital) in December. I own all call recordings on the matter.
Now, they sent me a 2-page pdf saying the claim has been closed as I didn’t send any documents as they desired. After paying ₹48,000/year for 4 years, they are not paying the ₹54,000 that they owe me.
Tagging IRDA or @DFS_India@FinMinIndia wouldn’t help as I have seen thousands of similar complaints whenever someone posts his/her case. It is an unchecked plague scamming lakhs of individuals hundreds of crores with minimum to zero redressals.
A video would soon follow.
Reminder : @vijaygajera's account is still banned in India by Milords over the complaint of Malabar gold and he's not getting Court date to appeal against it...
The woman beside me is one of the bravest I have ever met - Chanchal Chaudhary
When Chanchal's tenant Priya and Priya’s 13-year-old daughter Kashish went missing in March 2020, it was Chanchal who first went to police. She suspected Priya’s boyfriend, Mohd Shamshad, who she always thought had lured Priya only for her religious conversion
It was lockdown time. Priya, separated from her husband and family, had no one else to look for her. Chanchal refused to give up
She kept pressuring the police for months until the truth came out - Shamshad had murdered both mother and daughter and buried them inside his house.
This case was cited by UP CM Yogi Adityanath while bringing the state’s anti-conversion law in November 2020
Now, when a lobby is trying to get anti-forced conversion laws across states struck down, we at @sewanyaya are taking Chanchal’s voice to Supreme Court
