El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents took custody of a criminal illegal alien sex offender from Mexico.

Convicted in 2022 for lewd and lascivious acts with a child 14-15 years old, this individual served his prison sentence and was transferred to CBP when his detainer was honored.

He will now be deported.

Pennsylvania State Police Mourn Fallen Corporal Timothy O’Connor

CHESTER COUNTY, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Police are remembering Corporal Timothy O’Connor, the trooper who was shot and killed in the line of duty Sunday night during a traffic stop in Chester County.

Authorities say the 40-year-old trooper was fatally shot around 8:15 p.m. after pulling over Jesse Elks, 32, in West Caln Township.

According to state police, O’Connor had responded to an initial call and conducted the traffic stop about 10 minutes later when the shooting occurred.

O’Connor was a 15-year veteran of the Pennsylvania State Police, first enlisting with the department in 2010. In 2022, he transferred to the Embreeville barracks in Chester County, where he was promoted to corporal just months later.

The loss has sent shockwaves through the law enforcement community across Pennsylvania.

Corporal O’Connor leaves behind his wife and young daughter, as well as fellow troopers who described him as a dedicated public servant.

His End of Watch (EOW) is recorded as March 8, 2026.

Pennsylvania officials have ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff across the Commonwealth in honor of the fallen trooper.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
