4) “You cannot serve both God and money.” But what if the money is held by a Christian billionaire?

5) “Sell your possessions and give to the poor.” So, food assistance is communism and socialism, but private jets are God’s blessing.

6) “Do not judge.” Apparently that can also be read as judge absolutely everyone - preferably loudly and online - and includes lots of hashtags of course.

7) Jesus washed his followers’ feet to demonstrate that leadership means serving others. That does not sound like the orange Jabba the Hutt ‘wanna be’ King to me.

8) “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” Terrible slogan for a prosperity-gospel conference don’t you think?

9) “Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me.” I am wondering if that also includes the uninsured, homeless, hungry and unwanted?

It does not show Fauci issuing a single order. He had no authority to close a school, bar, restaurant, city or state. Mayors and governors made those decisions.

Your May quotation proves nothing either. Supporting emergency restrictions in March and warning against prolonged lockdowns in May is not a contradiction. The situation changed, so the advice changed.

His later claim that he “didn’t recommend locking anything down” was too broad and deserves criticism - I will give you that one. But that does not make “I did not close the schools” false. Physical distancing was used across the world. WHO recommended at least one metre. Britain used two metres. Australia used 1.5 metres. America used six feet - approximately 1.8 metres. Kind of a mixed bag, right.

Do you seriously believe Fauci invented physical distancing in a wet dream and the rest of the world copied him? Only a true American would believe this - that the big USA sets the direction, and everyone blindly follows ... ha ha :-)

He followed the same common-sense conclusion shared by public-health scientists everywhere: the closer you are to an infected person, the greater the risk; putting more space between people reduces that risk. Pretty simple thinking!

Was six feet proven to be the one perfect number - not five, seven or eight feet? It was a simple, cautious guideline created during an emergency, when governments needed to turn incomplete scientific knowledge into advice ordinary people could actually follow.

In this hearing, he says it again: every crowd carries risk, regardless of why people have gathered.

What you conveniently erase is that he gave them about these protests too.

In June Fauci came with several warnings:

Fauci answered the medical question repeatedly.
