It all started with Karachi's 1st Civic Hackathon. 😃
Did you know that our Founder Sheba Najmi, Jehan Ara and the late Sabeen Mahmud arranged this Hackathon within just 10 days!✨️
Sheba was a fellow for Code for America where she and others worked in #civictech.
What a decade (almost!) it has been making strides to serve our community with 40+ digital services to contribute to government processes & improve service delivery to citizens!
Now, we celebrate & catch up with old friends, reminiscing the journey 🤩

If it wasn't for the support & constant encouragement of Hajira's husband, Hajira might've not continued pursuing her passion.
Like so many other women, she too would've sacrificed her career & dreams for her loved ones.

So, a huge shoutout to all those men out there supporting & helping their ladies along their journeys!🙌 🙌 🙌

Hajira was shortlisted from among 700 (approx) internship applicants, but she almost backed out of the program.
She'd just had her first baby & was struggling with so many challenges, she wasn't sure she'd be able to do it.
Hajira's husband didn't agree though.
