Saying sorry when you’ve done nothing wrong can teach people that you’ll tolerate being taken advantage of. Not everything needs an apology. I understand wanting peace with all men, but remember, people know exactly what they’re doing.
Never dim your light to make others feel comfortable. When you walk into a room and the energy feels off, don’t shrink yourself. Stand taller, raise your standards, double your shoulder pad. You’re never meant to make yourself smaller just to fit into someone else’s comfort zone.
@IamWisdomUche It’s also okay to take a break from social media when it starts making you feel pressured. The truth is, no one has it all figured out, we’re all just winging it.
Some people’ll never know how deeply their small acts of kindness are remembered. You move on, life changes, you relocate. Then one day you come across a book they gave you, or a random little gift, and suddenly you’re smiling at a memory you didn’t know you still carried.
People who give thoughtfully not bcos they have to, but because they genuinely enjoy making others feel seen, have such a special place in this world. If you’re lucky enough to have someone like that in your life, please reciprocate. Appreciation should always flow both ways.
@PolitlcsUK Reducing the Cash ISA allowance feels unfair. People who have saved responsibly and value the safety of cash should not be pushed towards investments they may not want or feel comfortable with.
