Spent a good amount of time tracing things between WooCommerce, webhooks, and HubSpot to figure out where things went wrong.

A webhook can be delivered more than once. Your code needs to handle that.

Always design webhook handlers to be idempotent.

Use a stable event ID, record processed events, and make duplicate processing safe.

Otherwise, one retry can create two orders, invoices, or payments.
