الحروب التي تستهدف المدنيين، من أي طرف كان، مرفوضة ومدانة بشدة، ويجب أن تُحاسَب. ماذا يحقق استهداف الأبرياء غير خلق المزيد من الكراهية في عالمٍ أصلاً مثقل بالعنف والقهر؟

أتابع ما يحدث في #لبنان، ويختلجني، كما كل إنسان لديه إحساس، غضبٌ وحزن. فما نشاهده اليوم من استهداف للصحافيين، مهما كان انتماؤهم، مؤلم وغير مقبول، ويطرح أسئلة لا يمكن تجاهلها.

أنا ضد #حزب_الله، وضد أي جهة تجرّ لبنان إلى مواجهات وصراعات بسبب حسابات أو ولاءات خارجية. لبنان يجب أن يكون قراره بيد أبنائه، ومصلحته فوق كل اعتبار. كما أننا لسنا مع أي طرف يجرّ المنطقة إلى صراعات، أو يضع مصالحه فوق مصلحة أوطاننا وشعوبنا.

لكن ما تقوم به #إسرائيل جرم لا يمكن السكوت عنه. هناك مبادئ لا يمكن التنازل عنها، وخطوط لا يجوز تجاوزها. استهداف المدنيين؛ صحافيين، أطباء، وعمال إغاثة، جريمة لا يمكن تبريرها تحت أي ظرف. هؤلاء يمارسون عملهم، ينقلون الحقيقة، ويخدمون الناس، ولا يجوز أن يكونوا أهدافاً.

ما الذي يُحقَّق من استهداف أشخاص يرتدون بوضوح سترات تُعرّفهم كصحافة، وهم يفترض أن يكونوا محميين بموجب الأعراف والقوانين الدولية؟ ومتى أصبح انتهاك هذه الأعراف مقبولاً، ويُبرَّر أو يُتجاهل، فقط بحسب هوية الطرف الذي ينتهكها؟

الإنسان يجب أن يبقى فوق كل الحسابات السياسية والعسكرية. وما نشهده اليوم يذكّرنا بأن كرامة الإنسان أصبحت، في كثير من الأحيان، آخر ما يُؤخذ في الاعتبار.

ألم يكفِ هذه الحكومة الإسرائيلية ما ارتكبته في غزة؟ وإلى متى تبقى دون محاسبة على جرائمها؟

نحن نريد الاستقرار، ونريد السلام، ونرفض أن تتحول منطقتنا إلى ساحة مفتوحة يدفع ثمنها الأبرياء. ما يحدث يجب أن يتوقف، لأن الدم لا يمكن أن يكون وسيلة لإيصال أي رسالة، وليس ثمناً مقبولاً لتحقيق السلام.
