It is absolutely crucial that everyone contact their State Senator and Representative and asks for urgent, unwaivering support and sponsorship of Senate Bill 869 (patient homegrow)
We can get this one past the goal line if everyone calls ๐
It has bipartisan support

This is an interesting point and could be an issue with the Dept of Health?
If @TrulievePA has a royalty deal with @wizkhalifa on each unit of branded cannabis sold in the PA medical market, they are likely unable to lower the price, even with lower demand, so
@FairAccessPA@TrulievePA@wizkhalifa@wizkhalifa won't even allow his overpriced flower to be discounted. It's always excluded from sales.. like names specifically as not included. Pretty lame
Or is it predatory since patients do not have the benefits of an open market or homegrow.
Open question. @Trulieve@TrulievePA could you offer any insights in royalty deals and Dept of Health marketing guidelines?
@TrulievePA Medical users do not have grow rights in Pennsylvania ๐ณ
Has @wizkhalifa done anything to advocate for homegrow rights, or is this just a cash grab from medical patients?
We would be interested in speaking with him if he has any interest in helping.
Thankful for the hemp farms leading the bold charge toward acceptance and normalization
Particularly those in Pennsylvania ๐ค
Will do what we can to support them over the out of state corporations that have captured the medical market.
@kamaainagold This practice is undoubtedly saving hemp farms across the US from financial turmoil. Those farms are likely making informed decisions on the risk and reward.
There are even PA farms participating. I won't post their names.
@kamaainagold Anyways, I don't believe Hawaii is a "total THC" state.
I wish you the best with your hemp farm in Hawaii. It sounds wonderful.
THCA is certainly a risky endeavor, and I hope that everyone involved does their best to mitigate the obvious risk.
Looking at this there are only two logical conclusions we can reach:
1. Harrisburg wants its farmers to fail and struggle, and wants to allow other farmers from other states to sell tax free to PA residents
2. The lawmakers in Harrisburg have no idea what they're doing
An instant red flag is anyone that opposes the hemp market and the "THCA exception" that allows small farms in Oregon and elsewhere to sell their cannabis to consumers in other states.
Take close note of those that complain about this. They are telling on themselves.
PA hemp farmers can't participate because the PA legislature took it upon themselves to further restrict the federal provisions by enacting a "total THC" rule.
In making this rule, PA lawmakers opened the door for only out-of-state farmers to sell to Pennsylvanians.
