#PAHouse voted 117-86 to approve proposed state budget late Wednesday. It includes investment in some bipartisan priorities & some obvious tradeoffs.
PA voters would benefit from an accessible data showing clear comparisons with past, present, proposed.

Gridlock?
There's plenty in #Harrisburg.
In the 2021-22 session more than 1/2 the bills passed in each chamber were ignored in the other.
More than 1/2 of those ignored bills passed the other chamber unanimously.

🏀 End to closed primaries would allow unaffiliated voters to choose a primary ballot. Voters registered with a major party would vote their own party's ballot.
🏀 Pre-canvas legislation would allow opening & preparation of mail-in ballots to minimize delay in the final count.

Recognition that state courts are major players in high-profile policy fights have fueled outside funding in state court races.
Not every state elects judges.
