Google can compete with Microsoft because they offered the component of tandom work in a document before Microsoft did, and allow backwards compatability with different formats. This made up for lack of functionality to gain them market share in a dominated market. #PMBA5810

The most interesting and versatile disrupters to me is 3D printing. It is being used to completely change the way we look at multiple industries. We now even have the capability to print cells with human DNA to match implants with their recipient for high compatability!#PMBA5810

Im not sure ride sharing will impact the automotive industry as heavy as electric and autonomous vehicles will. Ride sharing might affect sales and volume for big companies, but autonomous vehicles will change the direction of manufacturing in the industry forever. #PMBA5810

I think this is a good testimate to how large companies should not turn a blind eye to potentially dangerous startups as far as competition goes. A company being naive in this day in age could mean the end. #PMBA5810

That is a good point. That might start to affect cable companies more than Netflix right away, but will certainly put pressure on Netflix and Amazon Prime. #PMBA5810

@FairElliot I remember doing the same thing. That was the best thing to do on a Friday night. I’m interested to see how Hulu adding live TV to their package effects Netflix. Being able to stream old stuff and also see live TV is a great combo that Netflix doesn’t offer.

It must be hard for bigger firms to see disruptive technology before it is too late. It seems like Amazon embraces them and works them in to their business model quickly to adapt. I think this will allow Amazon to assert their dominance for a long time in many markets. #PMBA5810

I remember going to blockbuster when I was little as they started dwindling down into nothing. It was interesting to watch Netflix use technology to rise from nothing and put their competitors out of business so quickly. What will be Netflix's demise? Will they keep up?#PMBA5810

I feel that many company's use point-of-sale-systems in todays world to gather transactional data. I think what sets Zara apart is how they use the data to quickly develop new designs. Their 15-day idea to consumer turnaround allows them to use tech to their advantage. #PMBA5810
