Shoshan, her daughter Adi, her husband Tal and grandchildren Yahel and Neve were kidnapped from Be'eri on October 7.
Shoshan, Adi, Yahel and Neve returned in the first exchange after 50 days.

I want to tell you about my friend, Dr. Shoshan Haran.
Shoshan and my worked together at Hazera company for many years. Shoshan “the kibbutz lady” from Beeri ran a large-scale research project to identify disease resistance genes in tomatoes, and I ran a tomato improving project.

It was moving meeting so many of @MASHAVisrael Alumni, and seeing their steadfast standing with #Israel in these hard days. We honored Dr. Shoshan Haran, Founder and president of @FairPlanetSeeds who, together with 10 of her family members, was abducted into the Gaza strip following the 7-October terror attack on Israel by Hamas.
We also discussed on how Agro-studies knowledge gained in #Israel is being beneficial in their carriers, plus exploring areas of cooperation in various future projects.
