@Ketaczak 1- I built friendships closer than I could’ve imagined.
2- I live in Colorado, so it will be hard to say goodbye to all my friends leaving and feel very quiet. I will miss everyone!!! I won’t miss class because #summerschool.
Favorite memory from my first year in college has to be all the friends I've made. They're people I see myself being friends with for a while, so I wouldn't trade that for anything. #writ1133du24
I can’t pick a favorite, but all of my favorite memories have included the friends I’ve made during freshmen year!!! We’ve gone skiing, hot tubing, on road trips, had karaoke nights, WII battles, and had the best times! #writ1133du37
ST: Beaufort explored the process of reflection aiding the transfer of learning. She took the approach of identifying it as a sort of ‘part to whole’ outlook analyzing small to large scale. I admire the comparison to “a painter stepping back from the canvas”#writ1133du37
I learned the power of reflection in this class and hope to transfer it to all my future classes and life experiences in general. The reflective process yields so many benefits, and I hope to never forget them. #writ1133du37
Something I’ve transferred successfully is from math. My professor taught me that if you look at a problem and have no idea how to do it, just start it and it’ll hopefully work itself out. I’ve applied this method to writing too and it has been so helpful!! #writ133du37
@Ketaczak I have learned that you have no regrets about any situations you face if you go into it with an established sense of morals and values. I’ve learned that as long as I make decisions based on these, I don’t over think as much. #writ1133du37
@ellie_schwade I completely relate! Sometimes I feel like it’s good self reflection, but sometimes I feel I just overthink 😅 Maybe it’s a little bit of both.
@Molly48158199 I wish I could journal! I always forget to, but so many people say it’s beneficial! How do you go about journaling? Do you write about your day, or what to get the most benefits from it?
@IsabelleCatalla I totally agree with you. I feel as though when I’m in nature I can really look internally. I always go camping when I need to clear my head reflect on life!
