@BBCNewsnight It's not a journalistic problem - the Labour backbenchers won't suport any "tough choices" and Starmer is terrified of them. Someone is going to have to take them though or the bond markets will and that will be a disaster.
@Glinner If I were going to discuss tax like Gary I would at least learn what taxes are and how they are applied - as soon as he is losing the argument he starts a diatribe of BS - clueless!
@BrianRoemmele My first dealings with a computer would have been about 1971. We wrote the input on ticker tape, it was a machine that took the whole floor of the college building and was then old and developed by Alan Turing and his team. I still have the tape somewhere.
@bbcquestiontime It was clear from the outset the Labour Gov. would be inept economically especially after Reeves limited the tools at her disposal - but politically they are proving even more clueless! - Marr is very naive for a very experienced hack.
@BBCNews IMO young people are happier as the min wage is up which has a greater effect on younger employees. The older being less naive and higher tax payers understand what's coming! π€£
@BBCNews The article infers young people are more confident in the economy because they are politically on the left and prefer a Labour gov. Whilst older people are less liberal so dislike the current gov. I don't think older people like the previous Tory gov. either?
@aviationarchive The Iraqi runways were so wide they had to drop the ordinance across the runway to stop aircraft using them - very dangerous operation with lots of SAM missiles around.
Clare Melford, head of the Global Disinformation Index, has been barred from the US. To find out out what the GDI was up to, check out my original report from April last year:
