Recently, a special reunion filled the air with laughter, memories, and ringing bells. A group of current and former HCS students who call themselves "Guy's Girls" had the opportunity to reflect on their time in Mrs. Cheryl Guy's third-grade class at @Fairview_HCS, an experience that played a key role in many of them becoming business owners, organization founders, and future leaders. We can't wait to celebrate many of these students alongside graduates from across HCS beginning May 17.

Ms. Patricia Bowers is an amazing member of our school team. She is the school's bookkeeper but wears many hats and supports student learning by working with students who need additional assistance. She is an ally to faculty and staff and constantly looks for ways to make teaching more creative and effective. Ms. Bowers is clearly "Team Fairview" and is a champion for wanting faculty, staff, and students to win. We value and appreciate her service!

Fairview celebrated recent patterns on the MAP Growth (Winter Administration). Grades 3-5 saw a minimum of 100 students meeting projected growth targets in math, reading, and language usage.

In a Parade of Scholars, we're setting the pathway for college and career readiness.

Grade-level teams collaborated on an instructional strategy (Boxes and Bullets). Open and extended discussions afforded a thorough discussion in differentiation across ability, age, grade, and subject levels.

In this FVE mini-presentation, Akiva Johnson (Grade 4 Chair) provides an overview of re-engagement strategies that addresses language arts.

Students summarized portions of a novel through short poems and dramatic plays, adhering to the characteristics for each literary genre.

Fairview extends its appreciation to the student body and greater community for a successful food drive. A total of 1,800 donated items will be provided to a local food pantry for the upcoming holiday season. #servicelearning
