The disconnect between the boomer right and the younger right wing is astonishing. The MAGA boomer right has no clue.
They grew up in a predominantly white country, that didn’t discriminate against them openly, where you could still get jobs that were decent, where women weren’t all poisoned by feminism, where healthcare wasn’t a compete scam, and where college and housing was still affordable.
They legitimately still think if young white men quit eating avocado toast, they will be fine.
They are right that some things are cheaper. TV’s, traveling, tech, phones etc. but the stuff that matters, education, healthcare, and housing is legitimately insane.
And then they expect younger generation to trust the government reads on inflation, while at that same time that same government tells us that we are too stupid to do certain jobs now and we need Indians to do it for us.
The America you grew up in, and the America your kids and grandkids have now are not the same. The solution is not to talk down to a beyond screwed generation.
@heywildrich They can whistle for votes in the midterms. If they don’t keep their promises we need a party like Reform. If they continue to be democrat-lite then there’s really no point in voting for them long term.
Current conservative advice for young Americans;
>don't go to college
>don't occupy roles of power and wealth
>don't complain about foreigners driving down wages
>don't complain about cost of living going up
>accept being the new underclass
>your country owes you NOTHING
Abysmal
Folks, do you understand what corporate America is doing now?
They moved their manufacturing offshore long ago, then the call centers. IT started a while back.
Now they are moving accounting, HR, IT, and many other operations roles to their Indian offices.
While firing American workers. And you wonder why we're are angry?
This is how desperate people are in Canada to find a family Doctor. A physician in Brockton Ontario starting his new practice said he would take 500 new patients on. Hundreds lined up in the freezing cold in hopes of signing up. What a disaster.
Summary of ConInc's incoherent message to young Americans over the last few weeks
- Work 80 hours a week
- Take a job at Panda Express or Chipotle
- H-1B program is good because Americans are mediocre and retarded
- The job market is great and inflation isn't that bad actually (Apparently now that the election is over Biden was a good President)
- Starting a family is completely feasible (we don't know who will raise the kids since you're going to be at the office 14 hours a day)
- Buy a "starter home" in the ghetto (Your kids who will barely know you get to experience the wonders of multiculturalism, don't bring up what kids like this experienced in the UK)
- The MAGA base is temperamentally unfit for jobs in conservative politics
Am I missing anything?
The boomer pays for his daughter's wedding, house, and law school tuition while telling his son to go get screamed at by obese black women at Panda Express for a living
America psychologically tortures its youth to the point of inducing learned helplessness and then people talk about their resulting apathy as if it’s some sort of personal moral failing
Remember the young Egyptian Coptic Christian who was hacked to death by Islamists, and whose body parts were thrown to dogs by a canal.
It’s crazy how little the world cares about Middle Eastern Christians!
telling young men their highest career ambition might need to be lowered to delivery driver or assistant night-shift crew-lead at a chain quick serve restaurant on the heels of the H1B feud is a grotesque vision of the future.
notice they never tell H1B'ers to just "stay home"?
