5-7 Mini Kwin Cities are planned for NK/Central/Coastal. Starting with Vijayapura and Hubballi.

Many other important announcements for NK and Beyond Bengaluru will be done early January in the Prelude to GIM.

Speed of Execution has always been my priority. We are actioning the projects and then announcing, hence none of our projects will remain just on paper.

I understand the voice of NK perhaps more than a lot of people, running one of the oldest and largest education groups in North Karnataka.

I do understand the urge and feeling of people of North Karnataka, I read their messages and pain on twitter etc. I’m doing a lot, some of it is seen, some is unseen. And some can’t be disclosed till it’s finalized.

However as minister I have to see the larger picture, and make sure that while we seek regional balance we also don’t lose out on investments, in the race for development in India and Beyond.

After 5 years, when I look back I want to feel satisfied that I contributed a little in the long term growth of the State, with the support of Hon CM & DCM, who have been very supportive of all initiatives.

The tragic demise of former Maharashtra Minister Shri. #BabaSiddique today, has left me shocked and deeply saddened.

My deepest condolences and prayers are with his son Zeeshan Siddique, his family members and supporters.

Hoping that this incident will be fully investigated to nab the perpetrators of this heinous crime, so that justice is done.

ಭೂತನಾಳಕೆರೆಗೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾನದಿ ನೀರು!
ವಿಜಯಪುರ ನಗರದ 4-6 ಲಕ್ಷ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಮೂಲವೆಂದರೆ ಬೂತನಾಳ ಕೆರೆ. ಈ ಕೆರೆಗೆ ತಿಡಗುಂದಿ ಆಕ್��ಾಡಕ್ಟ್ ನಿಂದ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ನದಿ ನೀರು ಹರಿಸಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಿಸುವಂತೆ 5 ದಿನಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಂತೆ ಕೆರೆಗೆ ನೀರು ಹರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಕೆರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರು ಹರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.
