God asked them to obey the voice of this Angel, and that they shouldn't provoke him. Why?

Because He will not pardon their transgression...

Moses and Elijah are the two major problems in the OT, so God had to cancel them? Brooooooooo...this is worse!

This is nothing but Gnosticism! The Gnostics believe that the god the OT folks spoke to was not the God Almighty.

Jesus consistently shows that Moses’ writings was about Him. Luke 24:27,44 is there too.
