@meo_joule ...voice of the Angel.
We could see consistently that the voice that was said to be obeyed was God Himself. (Deut. 13:4; 27:10; 30:2,8,20; Jos. 24:24; 1Sam. 12:14).

@meo_joule This means this Angel had the power to pardon or forgive sins. Only God can forgive sins.
Please, follow me.
God said His name is in this Angel. In the Hebrew, it has an implication of the fact that the Angel is not just a mere representative, but an image of God Himself.

@meo_joule ...is THE ANGEL (OF THE LORD).
But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

@meo_joule “Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.”
God asked them to obey the voice of this Angel, and that they shouldn't provoke him. Why?

Lord God refers to ‘angels’ or ‘demons’?
Moses and Elijah are the two major problems in the OT, so God had to cancel them? Brooooooooo...this is worse!
This is nothing but Gnosticism! The Gnostics believe that the god the OT folks spoke to was not the God Almighty.
Sad!😭
@meo_joule I love your response.
However, there are some things I noticed that I do not agree with.
“There are indeed instances where God has sent other gods in His stead. Exodus 23:20-23 is an example.”
The Angel in this verse is not a god, He is God. Let's see how.

@SImanlihen The law points to Christ. In it, Christ can be seen.
Paul, Jesus, John, Peter did their established their doctrine from the law.
These were people that has the Spirit. The Vail is removed because of the presence of the Spirit.
John 5:46-47
“For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?”
Jesus consistently shows that Moses’ writings was about Him. Luke 24:27,44 is there too.
So, what's all these dribble?
