I wish ICC should have reacted when Indian skipper refuse to shake hand with Pakistan skipper and i wish ICC should have reacted when Indian team refuse to accept trophy from Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board. Why ICC has reacted now when Pakistan decided not to play against India. It has clearly exposed ICC and its biased against Pakistan. As a cricket lover i always wanted the two teams to play against each other but, it is India which should review its own position and stop making cricket hostage to extreme political narrative.

The demand for new provinces collapses the moment you move from rhetoric to arithmetic.

My latest article explains why the slogan of “new provinces” is not reform — it’s a dangerous distraction.
Once you move past the slogans, the maths is unforgiving: creating more provinces isn’t decentralisation — it’s expensive centralisation by another name. More chief ministers, more assemblies, more bureaucracy, more politics, more cost… and ultimately the same dysfunction.

It balloons government, blows up recurring expenditure, politicises the federation, and weaponises constitutional boundaries — largely to pressure those defending the 7th NFC Award and the 18th Amendment.

Pakistan doesn’t suffer from too little government.
It suffers from too much of the wrong kind.

Real reform means empowered local governments, and leaner, smarter government at all three tiers — federal, provincial and local. It means returning to the federal bargain that built this country, not carving up its founding units for political leverage.

Pakistan doesn’t need a new map.

PAK AFGHAN STAND OFF

If attacking Afghanistan can resolve our security issues , then why wait ?
But , It is a considered view of majority of independent analysts that any such ruthless action will only harden the stance of Afghan Government and a foundation will be laid for a long term animosity between the two countries.
And we will have to face a two front scenario for ever.

Suggestions:
1. Keep precision hitting TTP.
2. ⁠Keep talking putting full diplomatic pressure on Afghan Govt.
3. ⁠Be benevolent to Afghan people , giving them economic and other incentives .
4. ⁠Keep hunting and destroying the hidden hands of enemy intelligence agencies . And go for ctr measures.
5. ⁠Keep an eye on the motives of big powers in this region , and align with the ones where we have common or overlapping interests.
6. ⁠Remain focused against Indian designs and be ever ready for a more than befitting response.

If we do the above , will never go wrong , InshaAllah. And the enemies’ plans will be neutralised.

Neelofar has been beautifully shot and is a must watch.

It does have some weak points, but that doesn't take away the fact that it's a well crafted romantic drama film.

Kudos to the folks behind this project, and its great to see that our cinema has come this far.
