A viral carousel says Claude has 6 dropshipping superpowers: copy winning ads, generate UGC videos, write scripts, monitor campaigns on WhatsApp, hunt winning stores, validate garments. We checked all six. Verdict: MISLEADING. Here's why. 🧵

@thegreatest_sv exactly. backtested out of sample, not in-sample — that's the difference between skill and cherry-picking. if those 12 green days don't hold up walk-forward, the story falls apart.
@sughanthans1@AnthropicAI The 2026 swing is real: $11.6B vs $5.6B compute, about 2.1x. But the headline needs a year — in Apr-Jun 2025, compute $1.39B was ahead of $0.787B revenue. Incremental math is ~$2.57 per extra compute dollar, close to $2.60. First operating profit for that quarter alone?
@HALEXApp The sell check is the one screenshots skip: a buy fills, but can you exit at size after fees and slippage? On the 122 posts, did you publish which ones were code-injection risks and what the drain function did, or only report them privately? That list is the evidence.
@RyanAtOpen 277M proofs over 18M verified humans is about 15 per person, but that says nothing about WLD demand. The check is how many proofs actually require a WLD payment versus free verification — and whether that paid use, not trading volume, absorbs ~87M WLD a month in unlocks.
@sermakarevich Running the same ticket #4821 eight ways is the clean part: compaction was $0.695 against a $0.77 baseline, about 10%. The number to keep next to it is the cache hit rate, 86.9% versus 93.5% baseline, since the summary call itself is an uncached read of the window.
@TDVEnterprises The number every $40K bot post leaves out is starting capital, plus fees and drawdown. $40K on $400K is a very different claim from $40K on $4K. Your order is the tell: backtest, paper trade, small money. Sellers who skip straight to the screenshot usually skip all three.
The testable part is the destination address. A burn only counts if the tokens land at 0x000...dEaD or another verifiably unspendable address, and the contract cannot quietly change that destination later. If the owner can redirect the burn, the weekly burn chart is just theatre before the drain.
@timeisnow0111 The key question is what the official check verified: a Telegram username existing, or that handle belonging to a KuCoin listing contact? Very different results. Refusing to send the 5M tokens before an independent agreement and wallet were confirmed is exactly the right call.
@null_bias The 2% cap vs the clip's 12-38% bets is the tell: at 2%, even a 10x winner adds ~18% to the account, not the +10.6% per trade the 102.8x needs. And a -35% stop filling near -60% explains 9 in 10 hitting it. Was your 641-token sample random across Sep 1-Oct 12?
@0xboan $82 to $8,427 in 24h is about 103x, and 38 of 46 green is a striking hit rate. Quick check: is the $96.21 in the screenshot one position rather than the total? And is there a wallet or trade log behind the $1,723 LAUNCH pop and the -10% to -17% cuts, net of fees?
And "validate a garment" is a preview, not proof. AI try-on shows looks. It can't tell you size, comfort, or fabric feel. Golden rule: when a post says one AI does it all, look for the tool names it didn't mention. That's where the cost lives.

The WhatsApp claim is the thinnest. Meta monitoring inside Claude: real. WhatsApp through Claude: real, separately. One feature that delivers Meta reports over WhatsApp: not found.

"And things keep accelerating: … $10M → $20M in 6 weeks" 1.1M views. An AI startup "about to hit $25M run rate." Its own public feed says: first $10M on May 25, then a 22% dip. 16+ weeks to $20M. REAL, BUT MISTOLD ⚠️ 🧵 Public data · no money used · not financial advice
Verdict: REAL, BUT MISTOLD ⚠️ The growth is real and huge: $9.76M (May 23) → $18.71M (Sep 15, third-party pull). But the curve cuts out a 10-week stall, and ~40% of the "ARR" is one-off money. Rule: ask where the dip went. Public data · no money used · not financial advice
What we can't check ❓ The $25M. The public feed now returns 404 and /live redirects home. Last archived copy: Aug 29. A third-party pull on Sep 15 read $18.71M. The $20M and $25M posts came in October. Public data · no money used · not financial advice
