This same combination appeared around the previous three major market bottoms, marking the early stages of a new bullish cycle.

BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, has highlighted AI and stablecoins as two major trends to watch going forward.

• BlackRock remains positive on AI investment over the next 6–12 months, supported by strong earnings and healthy balance sheets among AI companies
• AI is expected to remain a key growth driver supporting U.S. equities
• Stablecoins are evolving beyond assets used mainly for crypto trading into infrastructure connecting traditional and digital finance
• Their use in cross-border payments could expand significantly
• In emerging markets, stablecoins could also increasingly be used as an alternative to local currencies

The bigger picture BlackRock sees is fairly clear.

AI is emerging as a major capital-markets growth theme, while stablecoins are becoming a key pillar of financial infrastructure transformation.

Fortunately, Money Is Still Flowing Into U.S. Spot ETFs

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $715 million in net inflows on Tuesday alone.

• ethereum:native ETFs: $162 million in net inflows

The key point is that capital isn’t flowing into Bitcoin alone — major altcoin ETFs are also seeing inflows.

Solana is rolling out its next-generation consensus upgrade, Alpenglow, on the public testnet.

• Replaces the existing TowerBFT with a new voting protocol called Votor
• Targets transaction finality of around 0.15 seconds, down from roughly 13 seconds
• Validators vote directly with one another, significantly speeding up consensus
• Stability testing is currently underway on Agave 4.3
• No confirmed timeline for the mainnet rollout yet

If successfully implemented, this could be a major upgrade that makes Solana feel significantly faster in real-world use.

The $Dollar Is Strengthening Again

The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY) has climbed to 100.892, hitting an 8-week high.

• Markets are now pricing in an 89% chance that the Fed will raise rates at least once more this year
• Higher interest rates → higher borrowing costs → weaker consumption and investment
• Higher rates can also increase demand for dollar-denominated deposits, adding further strength to the dollar
• Tighter market liquidity could put pressure on risk assets such as stocks and crypto

The key combination to watch right now is a stronger dollar + additional Fed rate hikes.

If the DXY continues to push higher, it could put a short-term brake on the recent strength we’ve seen across risk assets.
