BREAKING: House Oversight Chairman James Comer is calling for a new bill that would only count American citizens on the U.S. census.

This would eliminate illegal immigrants from being counted in the census, which now counts towards how many U.S. House seats each state gets and, in turn, the number of electoral votes it gets in presidential elections.

Republicans say this leads to more House seats for Democrats than it would have if illegals were excluded from the apportionment.
