@ftballbasket@zonerunner331 Kingsbury has a weird obsession with old slow vets... I don't know why he refused to use the younger, more athletic guys. πMy point stands though, anyone with eyeballs knows Jaylin is (very) explosive. Dyami you can argue but he at the very least has plus long speed.
@ftballbasket@zonerunner331 Jaylin Lane was excellent as a punt returner (8th in the league for PR yards and 2td in only 15 games) so the testing obviously shows up. Idk why that's so ridiculous to you.
@Tiller56 I'd be thrilled, but these bust-reclamation projects rarely pan out so I'm not holding my breath. Either the guys were never as good as promised or injuries have left a permanent mark.
@zonerunner331 He had less than 1 yard per route run last season... Luke had over 2. That's obviously not everything, but there are other metrics Luke outperformed him comfortably. I would be thrilled if Burks finally played to his potential but the odds are heavily against it at this point.
@Tiller56 If Alfred Morris had 1,600 yards with vision, timing, and grit after being almost unanimously viewed as a fullback... It's funny to me anyone thinks Kaytron doesn't have the potential to win serious snaps. Even if he's the short yardage/goaline guy that's a super important role
@Gcarmi21 Yeah- I personally wouldn't want either of them and I'm very wary of Aiyuk... But I will openly admit I think Diggs would have the biggest impact on the field of that trio. Dude has repeatedly proven he can produce
@CommandersCrew@CommandersMusee Anyone with a brain, anyway- I remember being astounded how many people willingly ate up Bruce Allen's "leaks" that Trent Williams was being a big diva... As if that regime had earned a single ounce of credibility
@CommandersMusee How on earth did Trent Williams earn hated by fans? That whole debacle was one billion percent Bruce Allen's fault. Trent played through excruciating injuries in lost seasons for this team and they engaged in a smear campaign after their negligence almost killed him.
@BleedinBnG People don't realize that even if he "only" amounts to a top 10 punt returner and a useful gadget player/depth receiver that's a very good return for a 4th. If I recall <10% of 4th rounders become long term starters... So even if he doesn't improve much he is already a good pick
@JPFinlayNBCS I assume Terry will clear 1k comfortably if he's healthy, but I think people are underestimating how much we will see Bates and Sinnott. I could see them treating Okonkwo as a WR in many looks and having all three on the field fairly often, especially given the uncertain WR depth
@Gcarmi21@WeeklyAudible He could get hurt, Terry McLaurin could get hurt and defenses could focus on him, the offense could struggle in year one of a new scheme... Not to mention 1k yards is a mark very few rookies reach. I will be more than satisfied with anything over 500 yards
