@AnasSarwar Can we talk about Pakistans Donation of PNS Tariq/HMS AMBUSCADE, to become one of many new shipbuilding and Naval Heritage sites on the Clyde, creating jobs and boosting the tourism sector?
The previous Conservative Government were very cooperative?
With all this recent talk of the Falklands War and arguments with Argentina supporters, here is a veterans poem made into a song, in support of getting HMS Ambuscade out of Karachi! https://t.co/Z5n0n41A3W
@BCCBrekkfast@BasilTheGreat We do thats why a museum is being created on the river Clyde to be a memorial to the Royal Navy and the Falklands Task Force, based around the sister ship to HMS Ardent and Antelope, while the rest of the UK does little to help. The only exception has been the Type 21 veterans.
With all this talk of the Falklands War and commemorating it please back a Falklands War Memorial project on the Clyde, where so many ships of the Taskforce were built. This would centre around saving the last ship from the Taskforce - HMS Ambuscade (kindly donated by Pakistan). See @FallsofClydeSco; https://t.co/C1zR3ng8xu and https://t.co/4Irt2UiBkz
We are calling on serving servicemen and women, join our mission and create a Falklands Memorial for those who did not return. This will be a lasting tribute to all that served, and those from HMS Ardent, Antelope, Coventry, Sheffield, Atlantic Conveyor, Sir Galahad, Foxtrot 4.
Clyde Naval Heritage are pleased to confirm, that we have commissioned Fareham Marine Offshore Consultants, to go to Karachi and carry out a specific ship survey, to assess the condition of HMS Ambuscade.
Our appreciation goes to Derek Ross and Dave Buoy's for their support.
@OnthisdayRN@RoyalNavy The return of HMS Ambuscade will once again respect that heritage and those that serve today. Follow the journey as she makes her way back from Pakistan, to the Clyde, to become a Falklands Memorial ship.

@Neilsocialist I suppose its like, how could the UK Government be defrauded during covid with no recourse! Did the banks ever payback their full bailout from 2009?
