Converting some of my old 2D characters into a hybrid 3D style.
I tried to maintain the original style as much as possible. Some work better in 3D for gameplay reasons, but I wont be making all of them 3D due to time constraints (and because having both is kinda cool)

Learning how to combine keyframed and procedural animations. Still need to fix some of the transitions, but he can run and swim around on his own now.🐊
Getting through the boring work and starting to put things together.
There's one more major system to make, then I can move on to the cool stuff.

Raymarched Volumetric Fog✨
This is one of those effects I've always wanted to make, but never fully understood until recently. It's a simple thing, but I think it's SO COOL! Running at 60fps even on my 8 year old laptop.

Audio has been the thing I've probably neglected the most when working on this game. I've now realized how much it helps to sell the atmosphere, even on a simple scene like this! I really should do more...
(I also need to make some more textures at some point.😅)
