Now the Atari 800XL project is almost finished, it is time for some documentation. In case someone is as crazy as me to attempt it, I have listed all the parts and how to acquire them. https://t.co/4po98HUcJ6.

Hi! Testing my new thermal camera. Should work on electronics too… 😎🔥

Watched some old retro friends’ videos - pleasantly surprised how many are still active. Since Twitter went downhill, I lost track of most, so it’s good to see they haven’t vanished.

Still alive, healthy, just not making videos or blog posts lately.

Zigbee mesh finally behaving. Seems that routers = everything.

Trying out some free local Claude code AI coding...

@jeanlaallchicso Yeah! Great movie in many ways. 😆

If you haven’t seen this movie, it’s a must-watch! It shows how the world will be impacted by AI in the future.

@Amon_RA Indeed, that look like it. Nice find! I hope that in still receives in the "silence" period and will retransmit what it received earlier. 🙂

Got a small Meshtastic network working and sent a message over LoRa from one node to another. Pretty cool stuff. Looks like there aren't any other nodes around here though.

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

Thanks to the tips of @Amon_RA I have switched to MeshCore LoRa network as this is wider used than Meshtastic in the Netherlands. First device is up and running for some real field tests.

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA I have flashed the cardputer with the MeshCore firmware (https://t.co/5d7m3y3kvB), but still the same. Tomorrow more tests. 🙂

@Amon_RA That looks like a pretty descent repeater/antenna setup! Thanks for the link of the map. It seems there are some nodes 1 km or so from here. So probably my antenna doesn't reach far enough. I will do some more tests tomorrow outside.

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA Flashed the firmware. Went pretty smooth. But I don't see anyone in public channel. Maybe I need a bigger antenna? 🤔

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA Cool!

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA Looks good to me! I am new to all of this. 😄 ChatGPT is my advisor here.

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA Nice!

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA I thought there is a setting to override it in Meshtastic. Not sure how localmesh is dealing with this.

[ezContents (Marek) 💾 @ezContents]

@Amon_RA Also I noticed this weird restriction. Something to be aware of?
