Looking forward to seeing @maitlis speak at #allaboutwomen at the Sydney Opera House this afternoon: ‘Inside the Epstein Files’ … which happily coincides with my holiday 🇦🇺
Hi @JoshuaRozenberg , worth noting Fleetwood staying open isn’t a real expansion. With Blackpool now closed, local provision has effectively shrunk — it’s a rebalancing at best, not added capacity. @MoJGovUK Describing this as growth feels misleading for the community it serves

@RobertJenrick There are 3 Crown Court rooms in Carlisle (Court’s 1-3); Court 4 is the Designate Family Judge’s court. 67% of 3, is 2.01. There aren’t 2.01 empty court rooms… But your ‘editorial’ is wholly misleading. Your party governed for 14 years, this problem isn’t created by @UKLabour
Some quality journalism from @TheNewsAgents; Their interview of Andrew Norfolk, the journalist who first broke the grooming scandal, is great and well worth a listen to set straight some of the recent chatter.

Brilliant day at the Cumbria Family Justice Conference yesterday.
Thanks to all who attended, our brilliant speakers, and our sponsors @DeansCourt_Chs @OurFamilyWizard , @ClassLegalUK and FTS for their support.
I’m most grateful to the @fr_journal for publishing yet more of my musings on their blog today - an article produced in conjunction with @gifford_head concerning the interesting and important TLATA case Re Cynberg. https://t.co/M9z9wAuMl7
@daniellejmanson As an uncle of 3 children with SEN, and with that school being around the corner from my folks home, it was a very very difficult watch!
