🇨🇦♥️ This was broadcast on TV when I was only a kid. I remember thinking how brave this man was, even when I didn't know what cancer is. The very end of Terry's marathon is quite sad, honestly. Watching him struggle in the rain to gain only a few kilometers. Even when you can see on his face the physical struggles he endured.
The amazing research that came out of the Marathon of Hope is partly what saves lives in cancer patients today.
