Biological processing speed decreases with age; your framerate is getting lower.
Part of that may be because our thinking is more complicated, with more and physically longer neural connections putting our experience to work, but that's only part of the story. It varies throughout the day, too.
There are some supplements you can try that may help reduce the effect.
Actually crazy how every single major IP has been destroyed by the people put in charge of stewarding them, and all mainly for the same reason of giving the finger to fans and using them as vehicles for social messaging
I don't know who needs to hear this, but it might be everyone.
Sam Hyde is wrong.
He's worse than wrong. Fractally wrong. Wronger than wrong.
The kind of wrong you get when you understand who the enemy is, and are trying to fight against him, but you're really still fighting for him, because you have foolishly conceded his initial premise.
Sam Hyde doesn't know what happiness is. That's why he tells you not to have any. Because he doesn't know what it is and what it's for.
Know the difference between happiness and pleasure.
Happiness isn't sitting in a dark room jerking off to pictures while sucking on a lollipop.
Happiness is what you get when you connect to other people.
Happiness is what you get when you accomplish something you're proud of.
Carry that heavy burden across a finish line. Make something useful out of wood or metal. Fix that leaking window. Debug your code. Write something true, or beautiful, or both. Teach someone. Cook a delicious meal that doesn't come out of a box. Grow your small business. Raise your son to be a better man than you.
Do something others admire.
Do something that makes you proud.
Happiness isn't taking, or slacking off. Nothing you can buy can bring you happiness unless you add your own effort to it.
Happiness comes from making, and improving, and giving.
Happiness doesn't shun burdens. Happiness picks them up.
You are not made to suffer or to hate life. You are made to thrive, and to desire what makes you thrive. How could your ancestors have made it this far in any other way?
Yes, there are a lot of burdens you have to carry, especially right now. But don't carry them with worry and fear and suffering.
Carry them with pride.
Set them down across the finish line with joy.
And pick up the next one with hope.
Find someone to carry it with you.
When you know the difference between happiness and pleasure, your own mind, your own body, will tell you exactly what you need to do.
Before Batman: The Animated Series (1992) was approved, Bruce Timm and Paul Dini created a short proof of concept to show Warner Bros Animation the show's tone and style. This short helped get the series greenlit, and much of it was incorporated into the iconic opening intro.
Quentin Tarantino says Stanley Kubrick was a hypocrite.
"His party line was, I’m not making a movie about violence, I’m making a movie against violence.”
“It’s just, like, Get the f**k off. I know and you know your d!ck was hard the entire time.”
Milly Alcock reveals her cape in ‘SUPERGIRL’ was made using the same original fabric as Christopher Reeve’s Superman cape.
“My cape in this film was remade using materials from the original Superman cape… I think they found 16 meters of that material.”

Natives need to bear firmly in mind that if the demographics of this nation wildly vary from the traditional white majority, it won't be some great development for us.
It will be the opposite. We share a history with the whites, good and bad, but it's behind us now. The whites like and admire us, and as little as some of us want to admit it, they have helped us enormously.
The newcomers don't give a damn about us. We have no history with Pakistanis or Afghans or whoever. They are coming to conquer, that's it.
If we don't stand with the whites, we will fall together. It's that simple.
In lockstep Australia, Canada and the UK are implementing or introducing social media bans for under 16.
This isn’t an organic movement to protect youth.
@SamWalker100@hollywoodscifi Yeah. Changes too many to list, and 99% for the worse.
Good to hear from someone who saw the depth in the comic. Some TV show fans hate Ennis's version and don't seem to understand it at all.
