Couple of points to make:
1) This is a perfect example of how to play the eyes and hands of a receiver when you are NOT in phase /in control of the route. Do not listen to people who say “you have to turn your head and find the ball as the defender” in this situation. They are wrong and don’t know what they are talking about.

Love the route nuance by Shakir here, some of the best work I have seen by him tbh. Stems wide to get inside leverage on the slot defender and pretty much does the same thing on the Stutter to get to the post....Pretty stuff.
