Highway gangsters just walked into a high-end restaurant, drew guns on Kenyans, robbed them in front of everyone and vanished into the night like it was a normal Tuesday.

Barely a week ago the same type of goons blocked Thika Road and robbed innocent people.

Now ask yourself honestly:

— What if you were in that restaurant with your laptop, phone and cards on the table?

—What if they started shooting and your wife, husband, brother or child was sitting next to you?

—What does this teach every other thug in the country? That the streets, the roads and even restaurants now belong to them.

Since this government took over, lawlessness has reached levels we’ve never seen before. It’s not getting better — it’s getting worse and spreading.
We need to bring back officers like Hessy Wa Kayole. The ones who didn’t negotiate with these animals. The ones who hunted them down and removed them from our streets permanently.

Yes, the usual suspects will scream “human rights.” But what about the human rights of the innocent Kenyans who just want to eat, work and go home without fearing for their lives?

If nothing changes, we are steadily losing this country — and the next election will be fought in an even more chaotic environment.

Kenyans, enough is enough.
