@ohmisshollie Please tell me there's a happy ending to this story! I'm currently lingering in that 20% chances of finding my passport handled by USPS as well 😱🫣😮💨
.@USPS has lost my passport sent by registered post from Ireland on November 9th. Tracking shows it arrived in the US and then stops. There is no way for me to submit an inquiry via phone, email, or online.
Every time I submit the tracking number it points me somewhere else or says an inquiry cannot be processed.
7) Interviewer: Miss, did you choose this Linguistics and Philosophy major because it was the one you liked the most?
Fifth woman: No, because it was the one I disliked the least.
Italy... a while ago.. what was the best #major for a #woman (often the only allowed)??
"Lettere e filosofia", the equivalent of an English major.
Did women like it? Apparently not all of them 😌

One of the best pieces of advice I can give to grad students is something that I learned from my time as a competitive swimmer: It's natural to want to see how fast others around you are going, but looking around slows you down and ruins your form. Focus on your own goals & time.
Was looking at some posts/articles following the Mississippi tornado and I want to, once again, make my pitch here:
Atmospheric science and civil engineering need more integration within the field of natural hazards, in terms of both collaboration and education. :)
