* మిడ్-డే మీల్స్ పథకం (Mid-Day Meal Programme): 1995లో పి. వి. నరసింహారావు గారి హయాంలో ప్రారంభించబడింది.

* ఆర్థిక ఉదారీకరణ, 1991 (Economic liberalisation, 1991): పి. వి. నరసింహారావు మరియు మన్మ��హన్ సింగ్ గారి ఆధ్వర్యంలో LPG సంస్కరణలు ప్రవేశపెట్టబడ్డాయి.

* సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం, 2005 (RTI Act, 2005): మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ నేతృత్వంలోని UPA-1 ప్రభుత్వంలో పౌరుల కోసం తీసుకువచ్చారు.

* మహాత్మా గాంధీ జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఉపాధి హామీ చట్టం, 2005 (MGNREGA, 2005): UPA-1 ప్రభుత్వంలో 100 రోజుల వేతన ఉపాధి కల్పిస్తూ ప్రారంభించారు.

* ఉచిత, నిర్బంధ విద్యారక్కు చట్టం, 2009 (Right to Education Act, 2009): UPA ప్రభుత్వంలో 6-14 ఏళ్ల పిల్లలకు ప్రాథమిక విద్యను హక్కుగా మార్చారు.

* జాతీయ ఆహార భద్రతా చట్టం, 2013 (National Food Security Act, 2013): UPA-2 ప్రభుత్వంలో రాయితి ధరలకు ఆహార ధాన్యాల కోసం ఆమోదించారు.

* హరిత విప్లవం (Green Revolution): 1960ల చివరలో ఇందిరా గాంధీ పాలనలో ఆహార ధాన్యాల ఉత్పత్తి పెంపు కోసం ప్రారంభమైంది.

* బ్యాంకుల జాతీయకరణ, 1969 (Bank nationalisation, 1969): ఇందిరా గాంధీ హయాంలో 14 ప్రధాన ప్రైవేట్ బ్యాంకులను ప్రభుత్వ పరంచేశారు.

* జాతీయ గ్రామీణ ఆరోగ్య మిషన్, 2005 (National Rural Health Mission, 2005): UPA-1 ప్రభుత్వంలో గ్రామీణ ఆరోగ్య సేవల కోసం మన్మోహన్ సింగ్ ప్రారంభించారు.

* ఆధార్, 2009 (Aadhaar, 2009): UPA ప్రభుత్వంలో పౌరుల గుర్తించదగిన విశిష్ట సంఖ్య ప్రాజెక్టుగా UIDAI ద్వారా ప్రారంభమైంది.

* పోఖ్రాన్-I అణు పరీక్ష, 1974 (Pokhran-I nuclear test, 1974): ఇందిరా గాంధీ నేతృత్వంలో "స్మైలింగ్ బుద్ధ" పేరుతో తొలి అణు పరీక్ష జరిగింది.

* ఐఐటీల స్థాపన (Establishment of IITs): జవహర్‌లాల్ నెహ్రూ హయాంలో 1951లో ఖరగ్‌పూర్‌లో మొదటి IIT రూపుదిద్దుకుంది.

* ఎయిమ్స్ స్థాపన (Establishment of AIIMS): జవహర్‌లాల్ నెహ్రూ మరియు రాజ్‌కుమారి అమృత్ కౌర్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో 1956లో ఢిల్లీలో AIIMS ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

* అటవీ హక్కుల చట్టం, 2006 (Forest Rights Act, 2006): UPA-1 ప్రభుత్వంలో గిరిజనులకు అటవీ భూములపై చట్టబద్ధమైన హక్కులు కల్పించారు.
