That's what the majority in #Lebanon and #Israel wants. We want #peace with our neighbours, and between Israel and Lebanon it's just natural! ๐ฑ๐ง ๐ฎ๐ฑ
Raise the voices of peace for normalisation, stability and prosperity! And kick Hezbollah and iran out!
P.S. I have family in Lebanon, and for me peace is also personal, not only a national or geopolitical aspiration!
Lebanese activist Majd Harb on normalizing with Israel:
Normalization should have happened decades ago. It would fulfill his religious wish to visit Jerusalem and open Lebanon to a $500 billion market.
"Why not have a beer in Tel Aviv one day?"
I have just seen the unedited footage of the October 7th attacks. Please read:
What I saw was young men chopping off heads, shooting everything in sight, slaughtering little crying kids calling for their mummy, throwing grenades inside houses and cars and shelters, maiming bodies, playing with them, setting humans on fire, looking like it's the happiest day of their life.
They call their relatives to celebrate how many they have killed. The parents back in Gaza are thrilled. They cheer and ask for more.
"Bring back some heads for the people to play with" - asks a commander. The savages wilfully oblige, using flick knives to remove the skulls from slaughtered bodies like butchers carving up a carcass.
"Bring some home for the people so we can crucify them in the square" the Hamas leaders order.
The mangled, blood soaked bodies of hostages were paraded through the streets. The Gazan crowds cheered and filmed, celebrating or coming to spit on the terrified youngsters in the back of pick ups.
The young Hamas brutes with their ecstatic grins, taking selfies, shouting Allahu Akbar, looked like so many of the young men in dinghies. Trendy clothes, modern phones. Energy and conviction.
The first wave of attackers on October 7th were Hamas soldiers.
The second, amateur conscripts.
The third, Gazan civilians delighted to join in.
What even are these monsters.
I am forever changed, seeing what I have seen. And it isn't fake. It's footage Hamas shot themselves.
Israel must live with that right next door.
I fear we now have it, in hotels and houses around the country
On the joyous occasion of the 78th anniversary of Israelโs Independence, I extend heartfelt best wishes to H.E. @Isaac_Herzog and the people of Israel. The India-Israel Special Strategic Partnership continues to grow stronger, reflecting the deep friendship and shared commitment of our two nations to peace, innovation and mutual prosperity.
Thank you, EAM @DrSJaishankar, the Government and people of India, for the warm greetings and steadfast friendship on Israel's 78th Independence Day!
We deeply value this Special Strategic Partnership in defence, technology, agriculture, and beyond.
Shalom & Namaste! ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ณ
Greetings to FM @gidonsaar, the Government and people of Israel on the 78th anniversary of their Independence. Value our Special Strategic Partnership.

A short while ago, in full coordination with the local community of Debel in southern Lebanon, the damaged statue was replaced by IDF troops. The Northern Command worked to coordinate the replacement of the statue from the moment it received the report of the incident.
The IDF expresses deep regret over the incident, and is working to ensure that it does not happen again in the future.
Thrilled to host the brilliant journalist @AdityaRajKaul at my residence for an insightful evening!
He delivered a compelling lecture on his recent month-long reporting from Israel amid the war, and shared deep insights from his research work on the blockbuster film #Dhurandhar.
From geopolitics and the strengthening India-Israel ties to his on-ground experiences of Israeli society, it was a fascinating discussion.
Was an absolute pleasure hosting you alongside friends and colleagues, Aditya! ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฑ
A good conversation, as always, with my friend, Indiaโs Minister of External Affairs @DrSJaishankar. We discussed Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and Lebanon.
I said that the firm American stance in the negotiations on conditions that would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons (no enrichment in Iran, removal of enriched material from Iran) is critical for the entire international community.
I also said that Iranโs harm to freedom of navigation and the global economy through economic terrorism in the Strait of Hormuz requires action that will ensure the freedom of navigation for all countries, including India and our friends in the Gulf. ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ณ
On Friday, a Hezbollah rocket fired from Lebanon slammed into the remains of a stunning 1,500 year old Byzantine church in Nahariya, Israel.
This ancient site, with its beautiful mosaic floor, is a priceless piece of shared human heritage, not a military target.
Hezbollahโs indiscriminate rocket attacks deliberately endanger civilians and strike holy and historic places with zero regard for innocent life or culture.
Targeting residential areas and irreplaceable historical treasures is yet another war crime by a terrorist organization that hides behind civilians while destroying everything in its path.
The ancient mosaic survived this time, but the message is clear: Hezbollah brings only destruction.
The Prime Minister's Office:
Pakistan Defence Ministerโs call for Israelโs annihilation is outrageous. This is not a statement that can be tolerated from any government, especially not from one that claims to be a neutral arbiter for peace.
Our hearts ache for the four victims murdered in the Iranian missile strike on Haifa - Vladimir and Lena Gershovich, their son Dmitry, and his partner Lucille-Jane.
The four family members were together in their final moments. Two generations of one family were pulled lifeless from the rubble.
The Iranian terror regime is using a strategy of war crimes.
It deliberately targets civilian populations. It murders civilians.
We will not forget the fallen and the murdered.
May their memory be a blessing.
This evening, I had the privilege of celebrating the #Passover dinner with part of my team at @IsraelinIndia.
As an Israeli Druze, I connect deeply to the story of the Exodus from Egypt through the legacy of Jethro, and to the resilience of the Jewish people through my own journey as an Israeli.
Wishing all my Jewish friends, brothers, and sisters in #Israel and around the world a joyful Pesach, Happy Passover.
And yes, we used the Hagada from @EL_AL_AIRLINES ๐ now you must open a new rout to #Delhi
The Iranian regime devastated Arad and Dimona by deliberately striking civilians with missiles. Over 100 people were injured, including children. A blatant war crime. Pure terrorism.
So not only has Iran brazenly lied about its ballistic missile range capacity, but this means it can probably hit the UK with them - and we have zero, I repeat ZERO, defence against these missiles. Very worrying.
@ExtSpoxEU Ignoring Hezbulla launching rockets and drones from Lebanon, on Israeli civilians, totally unprovoked
Ignoring the suffering of Israeli civilians
Ignoring the well of the Lebanese majority that wants hezbullah and Iran out
Is Europe trying to be more irrelevant?
