Alireza Sepahi got married in prison. The next day, the regime in Iran executed him.

He married Mahshad Kashani while facing a death sentence. They were denied even a final meeting as husband and wife. She is serving five years in prison. Now she must grieve her husband behind bars.

The Islamic Republic executed Alireza alongside another detained protester, Alireza Raeesi.

These were two people with families and futures. Remembering their names matters. So does holding those responsible for their deaths accountable.

چهار سال از تجاوز ابراهیم کوچک‌زایی، فرمانده نیروی انتظامی چابهار، به دختر ۱۵ساله روستایی به بهانه بازجویی در دفتر کارش می‌گذرد. مردم چابهار و زاهدان هرگز ساکت نشدند و حکومت در برابر اعتراضشان جنایت #جمعه_خونین_زاهدان را در هشتم مهر در زاهدان رقم زد. مزدوران رژیم بیش از سیصد نفر را کشتند و زخمی کردند.

از آن زمان تا دو سال بعد، هر جمعه در سیستان و بلوچستان سرکوب فراگیر بود و ده‌ها کشته و مجروح و صدها بازداشتی برای سرکوب معترضانی که از دختری در برابر متجاوز دفاع کرده بودند، بر جای ماند. #ابراهیم_کوچک_زایی ابتدا به ۱۵ ماه زندان و انفصال از خدمات دولتی و عمومی محکوم شد، اما اکنون مدیر حراست #سازمان_منطقه_آزاد_کیش است.
