We're pleased to announce Mindy Coe #224 to the rank of Lieutenant, District 5 Commander in Cherokee. She is a 14-year veteran of the Patrol who started her career in District 8 – Mason City. In 2016, she was promoted to Sergeant in District 8. Congratulations Lt. Coe!

Lt Jay Smith spent the last 32 years serving the state of Iowa. Today, he came to turn in his equipment for the last time.

Lt. Smith has been a leader, a mentor, & a friend to many.
