When seasonality was lost, driven out by year round cheap imports, the economics of local production fell thought the floor.
Society needs to value what it eats, to save our farmland.

Farming has a critical role to play; food production, bio-diversity and carbon capture.
“Making space for nature” is a good starting point.
A sensible national discussion about a balanced diet is long overdue.
