Exploring regenerative farming at Lower Blakemere Farm, one of the Duchy of Cornwall’s seven Focus Farms. The Gorringe family showcase sustainable practices, including repurposed structures and composting projects.
The Prince Of Wales is on an engagement roll this month and today visited Lower Blakemere Farm in Hereford. The multigenerational farm is part of the Duchy focus farm initiative on the Duchy of Cornwall.
Prince William got his hands literally dirty learning about the new farming practices in grain and the Worm-made compost...🤢🤭
I love how he went from Farmer's Barbour look outside to business casual inside: Dressing appropriately for the occasion is indeed a form of good manners and breeding.

"Net zero" means balancing the greenhouse gases we produce with the amount we remove from the atmosphere. Farmers are absolutely key to achieving this.
Lower Blakemere Farm in Hereford is working towards net zero through regenerative farming.
Forcing farmers out isn't the solution in any way to a “greener future”. UK farmers are indispensable in securing our food supply and safeguarding our environment. 🌱🌾 #SustainableFarming#LocalGrowth#NoFarmersNoFood
@wheat_daddy@DavidButler34 Lifters and the Convio flex is even better The geometry between the knife and lifter point is maintained all the time meaning no bulldozing and exceptional lifting laid crops Control of the header is accurate enough to leave them on most of the time (we only remove for rape)
Wow wow. What a brilliant article by @JeremyClarkson on what this government has done to 🇬🇧 agriculture

After an evening with Cheerful Charlie at Herefordshire ag club,I pinched this slide.
8% of farmers produce 57% of food from 33% of the land.
What a stat.

@LEAF_Farming That is very sad news .. having known Caroline for many years my thoughts are with Phil and Gabby .. who is the same age as our son. What she did for agriculture was inspirational and probably unrepeatable. She leaves a huge legacy and I feel privileged to have known her.
