@BaseballJeff1 Arraez, Schmidtt, and Ray gotta go. Obv wait until you have the right deal, but for crying out loud…this is a lost season. Get what you can.
@ChristianB59154@JohnSheaHey So perhaps Matos gets every start against lefties, and Lee and Bader kind of “platoon the platoon” and get the starts against lefties they have the best shot to handle.
@ChristianB59154@JohnSheaHey I tend to agree, but the Giants will need to be creative and get Matos some at bats, if only just to see what they are going to do with him. I would have no problem letting Matos start against lefties and lifting him for Lee as soon as a righty comes in.
@KillInfluencers Objectively…Bum had better numbers. That’s literally how you determine the objective value of something: with facts.
SUBjectively you are more impressed by Yamamoto because you think the competition was more important than the numbers.
Fine take to have, but not objective.
@BaseballJeff1 Right, and that’s valid…but a lineup that they are both in with Schmidt not playing defense doesn’t make sense. Id rather have Arraez at DH on the days Schmidty starts (tough lefty days to give Eldridge some protection).
