Wearing pink today to support our fellow teacher from @seipeltsoars as she begins her treatment for breast cancer.
You are not battling alone, and BES stands here with you! ๐
@sarah_otts27 I know little to nothing about Flipgrid, but recently signed up with an account and started following them. Becoming certified in anything Flipgrid is unlikely, YET!
@MilfordPLC A4 Sharing what we continue to learn with our fellow educators is a way to keep the fight going. I wouldnโt have joined this chat or be able to recommend one of my favorite multicultural books without discussions with my peers. We should no longer be silent. #MilfordPLC
@MilfordPLC I highly recommend Last Stop on Market Street. @steveholden29 not only let me borrow the book to read to my students, but showed me this https://t.co/LNheYTMVTx that I shared with my students as well.

@MilfordPLC A3 There is a non-profit organization https://t.co/FoEIiSYzyT. There are booklists of multicultural and social justice books, a guide for selecting anti-bias childrenโs books and more! #MilfordPLC
@MilfordPLC A2 The chapter Calling on Omar really resonated with me. I want to be more purposeful with providing time to allow all students to share what it is on their minds. In order to feel safe, students need to know their voice will be heard. (1of2)
@MilfordPLC A1 What drew me to this book study was out of frustration and a feeling of helplessness. โStudents pay attention to everything we say and do.โ I want to learn from other educators about their experiences and best practices. #MilfordPLC
Iโve been on a social media hiatus, but wanted to be able to discuss and connect with other Milford teachers about this book. Thank you, @MilfordPLC for organizing & @LangstonLeaders for keeping me in the loop!
Class of 2033, we're ready for you! Kindergarten registration for both half and full-day kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year will begin on January 13. To be eligible for kindergarten, a student must be five years old on or before September 30, 2020.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I took a group of first year teachers to dinner. Iโm so grateful that theyโve chosen to enter the teaching profession. So impressive! The future of OH education & students is in great hands! #OhioLovesTeachers#OhioEd
