Before bidding on a Genesis NFT, there's one thing worth understanding.

Your bid isn't necessarily your final price. 👇

Imagine 3 NFTs are available, with a minimum bid of 500 cZAMA.

4 people bid for 1 NFT each:
A: 3,000 | B: 1,500 | C: 1,000 | D: 500

The top 3 bids win, so A, B and C secure the NFTs.

But all winners pay the same clearing price: 1,000 cZAMA, the lowest winning bid.

A gets 2,000 back, B gets 500 back, and C pays 1,000. D doesn't win and gets the full 500 back.

The interesting part of @FungoLabs × @zama's Genesis auction? Your bid affects your chances of winning but not necessarily what you pay.

Bid what the NFT is worth to you, not just the minimum.
