The governor of Jigawa state went on monitoring tour of civil service in the state and discovered many civil servants have not resumed office by 11.00am.

Well I don't blame the civil servants.

If you dig deep you will discover that all the jobs that should keep civil servants busy have been contracted out to party stalwarts and governor's loyalists. The civil servants therefore have nothing to do.

Since they have nothing doing, they go out to look for other means of livelihood to support their miserable monthly salaries.

Most state governors don't fund the civil service.

You will be shocked that the governor is just doing eye service for the press to portray him as a hard working governor.

We know this things. And we know the serious governors.

NO FOOD FOR LAZY MAN

Bishop Oyedepo has told the story of one of his trips to Ghana where he saw and inscription on a lorry saying 'No Food for Lazy Man' and how he would have loved to follow the lorry if it was travelling to Nigeria.
He returned to Nigeria the next Sunday to preach the message-He that does not work, let him not eat.

He tells another story in one of his books of his trip driving by road to another state for a preaching engagement with a boil on his buttocks and how he told his pastor colleague in the vehicle, now that we are going through this, nobody can see us, but when we start flying, they will start grumbling.

I recently observed Bishop Oyedepo's schedule as he approaches his 72nd year and it shows signs of a man that has refused to slow down. As Dr Pastor Enenche explains, 'Bishop Oyedepo is a man that has refused to arrive'

As June 2026 came to an end, Bishop Oyedepo Visited Kaduna and Kano on Apostolic visits.
He returned for Midweek Service on 1st July and continued the week of spiritual emphasis till 3rd July 2026. By Saturday 4th July he ministered at the Leadership Empowerment Service and proceeded afterwards to the field to win souls in his personal outreach.

On Sunday 5th he ministered in 3 services and then announced Area, Apostolic visits which we have confirmed would take him to not less than 30 areas.

To cut it short, Fast forward to last week-Wednesday 15th July, he continued his crazy routine.
*Wednesday-Midweek Service
*Thursday 16th July -CHoP and Area Apostolic Visit

In another vein, Many rural churches were approved to be built about the same time.

*On Friday 17th July, Bishop Oyedepo flew to Warri and ministered at The Masters Place Dreamland Phase 1 Dedication-with well over 100 souls saved.
Afterwards he returned to minister to all Covenant University students at their closing service in the Faith Tabernacle.

*Saturday 18th July, -He held Personal *Evangelism at the Toll gate Sango Ota

*On sunday 19th July, he ministered at 3 services (in the absence of the Resident Pastor who was on assignment in Melbourne, Australia) -with 2,600 souls coming out to give their lives to Christ.

*On Monday 20th July he was at the-CHOP and same as Tuesday this morning 21st July 2026.
*By tomorrow Wednesday 22nd, he will likely minister at the Midweek service and either personal or apostolic outreaches on
*Thursday, Friday and Saturday-23rd, 24th and 25th July.

*Remember that Every Sunday is an equivalent of what many organizations would call a massive crusade.
*Bishop Oyedepo is Getting ready for the annual Youth Alive Convention.

All these is going on and not forgetting that he is currently leading the building of the largest and fastest church project in the world. It is the second most expensive in this century and he is not running in and out of banks for loans or overdraft (the most expensive which is a 5000 capacity Orthodox 'People's Salvation Cathedral' was built from 2010-2025 by the Romanian Government as a national Monument and dedicated in October 2025).

Asides that, as Chancellor of 2 Christian universities which are among the best in this continent, he is building a massive new lecture Hall at Landmark University as well as 2 whole colleges of Medicine and Law in Covenant University, Nigeria's top ranking university.

Yet as he was talking to Pastors on Friday, 17th July at the Masters Place, he insisted that preaching is not the main work as there are many things you do before preaching.

Bishop Oyedepo is the pastor of the largest established church in the world whose founder is still alive in terms of followership, congregations, academic institutions and infrastructure. He is about the only mega church pastor of his age who goes out to the streets to meet potential concerts and not wait for them to meet him in church.

JUST IN: 🇳🇬🦉DSS SET TO APPEAL LIFE SENTENCE ON ANSARU TERROR COMMANDERS

The Department of State Services (DSS) is set to appeal the life sentence handed to two top commanders of the Ansaru T£rr0r organization by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Justice Emeka Nwite sentenced Mahmud Usman (aka Abu Bara’a/Abbas/Mukhtar), the self-styled Emir of Ansaru, and Abubakar Abba (aka Mahmud al-Nigeri/Malam Mamuda) to life imprisonment after they pleaded guilty to all 32-count charges.

A top DSS official described the sentence as too lenient for the gravity of their crimes.

The official noted the curious timing: the commanders changed their plea after Ansaru members k!dn@pp£d pupils and teachers in Oriire, Oyo State. One of the key demands was the unconditional release of these same commanders.

The DSS insists that life sentences do not adequately serve justice for the two Oriire teachers beheaded by the abductors, whose demand was the release of these terror leaders.

The Service will seek maximum penalties on behalf of the victims.
