The contract is going to make our company a better, more equitable place to work for writers, editors, photo editors, video producers, social media and events staff, all of whom stood together to have more say in how our workplace is run.

The @FastCoIncUnion's bargaining committee had a long day at the table today. Our contract expires at the end of the month. We are making progress, and we hope management is ready to meet us halfway to get a deal done.
The contract provides many significant gains, including salary minimum increases of at least $10k to all job tiers, 3-month paid professional leave, 5 months paid parental leave, and pay equity salary adjustments as high as $11,200.
