Today, Brenda Garcia will return to work at Chipotle (136-61 Roosevelt Ave, Queens, NY 11354) after 32BJ SEIU filed Unfair Labor Practice charges under the National Labor Relations Act accusing Chipotle of retaliation against her for her union activity.
Today's projected dividend payment from @McDonalds is $929.4 million. If 1 in 10 crew members became ill with COVID-19 or needed to quarantine they could provide 2 weeks of paid leave at $15/hr for just 6.6.% of that amount—instead they lavish money on Wall Street.

Right now hundreds of workers are in Milwaukee for the kickoff of the #UnionsForAll campaign. If we're going to fix the rigged economy, we need to make it easier for all workers to join and form unions.

New York workers were the first to win $15, and we know that it's good for workers and our communities. Now Congress is taking action! Every worker deserves fair pay and union rights!

BREAKING: Six years after the first #FightFor15 strike, the U.S. House just passed the #RaiseTheWage Act to increase the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour!
Organizing works. Strikes work. We're not even close to done! #RaiseTheWageNow
Families across America need a raise. That’s why we must pass the #RaiseTheWage Act – which will give more than 105,000 people right here in the 2nd district a long overdue raise!
Working Americans making minimum wage shouldn’t live in poverty or be forced to work several jobs to make ends meet. I’m working to give 152,300 workers here in #FL26 a long-overdue raise. We need an economy that works for everyone, not just a wealthy few! #RaiseTheWage
Americans across the country are working longer hours and still struggling to make ends meet. The #RaiseTheWage Act would lift at least 1.3 MILLION of workers out of poverty, including 600,000 children.
.@JulianCastro is standing with us today, recognizing our collective power as voters who have a lot to fight for. We’re demanding $15/hour, and union rights! 2020 candidates, are you listening? #UnionsForAll#FightFor15
The minimum wage is far from a living wage - according to a new @JECDems report, it doesn't even cover housing expenses for the typical American family.
We need to #RaiseTheWage. Proud to support this bill & I hope all my colleagues will do the same.
