@TheAnglicanWay Wonderful. If you also look from underneath, you can see that the Lord’s hands are pulled away from the wood—a sign of his resurrection.
Reminder that in 1981 Britain added a descant to the national anthem, turned it into the best national anthem in the world, and then just… forgot about the arrangement never to use it again
@CraigBaird Wonderful to hear! I’ve followed you for a few years now, and have consistently appreciated your wide perspective on Canadian history. Blessings on your book. I look forward to reading it.
To put it into perspective what a loss this is, here's a @TorontoStar archives photo by Todd Karol of St. Anne’s Anglican Church with art work painted by members of the Group of Seven:
Joy to thee, O Queen of Heaven, alleluia!
℟. He whom thou wast meet to bear, alleluia!
℣. As He promised hath arisen, alleluia!
℟. Pour for us to God thy prayer. Alleluia!
℣. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
℟. For the Lord is risen indeed, alleluia.
I’m so excited to visit Salt Lake City’s best book store on Tuesday to talk about my favorite person in Mormon history.
