BREAKING: Iran has rejected the latest U.S.-backed Qatari proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and denied Israeli Channel 12's report that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accepted the deal, calling the claim false, per Fars News Agency.

Citing military sources, Fars said no changes have been made to Tehran's policy, insisting the Strait remains closed and that any vessel seeking passage must still obtain authorization and coordination with the IRGC Navy.

Iran's Defense Minister said every U.S. threat is treated as real, adding that Tehran is not backing down and is instead raising combat readiness and strengthening deterrence for any scenario.
