Concluded a successful visit to the #UAE with President Dr @MMuizzu to attend #COP28.

The President delivered a strong message on behalf of the people of Maldives, urging world leaders to:

1⃣ take stronger and more ambitious climate action that takes us on the path towards a 1.5-degree pathway,
2⃣ ensure predictable, adequate, and sustainable climate finance,
3⃣ capitalise the Loss and Damage Fund.

Led by the President, we met and interacted with leaders from a number of countries and institutions, sharing our vision for the country and outlining the priorities of our foreign policy.

This visit has solidified our commitment to enhanced multilateral action. We have an exciting future ahead that delivers for our people!
