It’s true. The BBC contacted me when the Israeli military intensified their attacks on Lebanon last year. They said they would publish an article about how it affected my parents who were forcibly displaced from south Lebanon. I told the BBC reporter the truth: the civilians of Lebanon - my parents included - were terrified they would be killed by the Israeli military & their relentless attacks on civilian infrastructure & that entire villages were wiped out by the relentless Israeli military onslaughts. The BBC never published the interview article in the end…
The film the BBC refused to air.
Extraordinary film making. One of the most important documentaries to come out of this dreadful conflict. Huge respect to @Channel4 for airing it. The @BBC again displaying an appalling level of moral cowardice.
A video showing Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh, who was killed by the Israeli occupation under torture while detained in Ofer Prison, and Dr. Marwan Al-Sultan, who was killed along with members of his family yesterday by the Israeli occupation during their forced evacuation from the Indonesian Hospital after a 46-day siege.

Shut up. Just shut up with your absurd justifications to this utter monstrosity.
I am appalled by the deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The last lifelines for survival are being cut off. Without an urgent influx of fuel, incubators will shut down, ambulances will be unable to reach the injured and sick, and water cannot be purified.
The @UN has a clear and proven plan, rooted in the humanitarian principles, to get vital assistance to civilians – safely and at scale, wherever they are.
I renew my call for an immediate permanent ceasefire and for the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.
Israel has killed over 300 Palestinians in the last two days, and there’s been no coverage in The New York Times. No coverage on CNN. No coverage in The Washington Post. The U.S. media is Israel’s most lethal weapon.
Francesca Albanese:
“Arms companies have made record profits by supplying Israel with cutting-edge weapons used to unleash 85,000 tons of explosives on Gaza — six times the destructive force of Hiroshima!”
The United States government used to pay mercenaries $200 for every native American they killed. This is a continuation of a formative and proud American tradition. Settlers and their progeny have genocide in their genes.
Israel killed Dr. Marwan Sultan, the Director of the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza.
They dropped a bomb on his home, murdering him, his wife, and their children.
Everyone in this image was killed by Israel today.
His crime? Being a doctor.
I can't see how the BBC will ever recover from its headlong leap into this ethical void, all in the name of not upsetting the perpetrators of the most horrific genocide since the end of the 2nd World War.
Oh my goodness—how did I miss this until now?
The timing of Israel’s assassination of Dr. Marwan al-Sultan, the director of the Indonesian Hospital and one of Gaza’s top cardiologists, was no coincidence. It happened on the very same day Gaza: Doctors Under Attack was scheduled to air on Channel 4 and Zeteo.
This is the same documentary that the BBC had commissioned and cleared for broadcast back in February 2025—before abruptly pulling it on June 20.
Dr. al-Sultan’s daughter, Lubna, said the missile struck the only room where her father was staying.
It seems like the world still does not understand.
