Green MSP Kate Nevens and SNP MP Lara Bird have been kidnapped by Israel for trying to enter Palestine.
The Prime Minister should be demanding their immediate release.
In January 2024, the Wall Street Journal spread false Israeli smears accusing UNRWA workers in Gaza of joining the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
This resulted in the decimation of UN aid and widespread starvation in the tiny strip.
Israel refused to provide any evidence.
From @WSJFreeEx: Antisemitism used to be a whispered thing in Ireland. Since Oct. 7, 2023, it’s been shouted from the highest places, writes Alan Shatter

A reminder that Yoseph Haddad, seeking a Knesset seat with Amcha Yisrael, was invited to the Dáil by current Minister for Health @CarrollJennifer in 2022.
The former IDF soldier vehemently denied claims this month that he... checks notes... may have helped children in #Gaza 😢
As we enter the home stretch in the lead-up to Israel’s election, the attack ads are growing more and more vicious.
Several candidates have now accused each other of the vile act of.. helping sick children in Gaza.
Tonight, Yoseph Haddad is firing back with his adamant denial: Come on guys. You know me. I would never ever help sick kids in Gaza. I was only pretending to in order to make Israel look good!
There truly is no bottom.

'Stopping the genocide in Gaza is not even in question – over three out of four Jewish Israelis believe there are “no innocents in Gaza,” while they deny the genocide.'

A pneumatic-looking Miriam O’Callaghan (on €244,797 at RTE) gets a puff-piece in the Sindo, penned by Sarah Caden, who is the wife of Brendan O’Connor (on €239,988 at RTE, God knows what he gets at the Sindo where he used be deputy editor and remains frontpage columnist) at RTE where Steve Carson (husband of Miriam O’Callaghan & on €276,282 at RTE) has been appointed to the Leadership Team (executive directors overseeing operations at RTE).
Since when did denying people equal rights, freedom, and the right to return to their own homes cause offense to Jewish people in Ireland?
Conflating the crimes of an Apartheid, colonial state with Jewish people all over the world is actually far more offensive and dangerous.
It’s incredible that this is allowed on RTE without challenge. Do they actually understand the meaning of the term “Free Palestine” and what it means for Jewish people in Ireland watching.
This is RTE continuing to promote a single narrative and not promote balance or peace.
It clearly nails RTEs colours to the mast as a Pro-Palestine state broadcaster.
During the troubles would RTE have allowed the IRA or its political wing Sinn Fein to sing “Up The Ra” or "Tiocfaidh ár lá".
Completely overwhelmed by all the messages I have received since my statement.
As I continue my treatment and my recovery now know that I simply have to raise more awareness around mental health in the future
Best part of 6 weeks before the UK Championships starts and all being well I’ll be in a better place by then but for now it’s just one day at a time
Thanks again for all your support. It’s meant so so much to myself and my family
Ex Galway United defender Gerry Daly wrote a book about his life experiences, the managers he played under, his teammates and opponents as well as his family. Many ex players from around the country were at the launch.
A candle lit today in memory @Galway_GAA hurler Niall Donohue who tragically died on this day 13 years ago.Niall’s memory lives on through the national & local GAA initiatives continuing to shine a light on the importance of our ‘inner fields’ & emotional wellbeing of our members
The late, great Denis Halliday on Irish solidarity with #Palestine in 2023.
He resigned from the #UN in 1998, in protest over the impact sanctions were having on ordinary people in #Iraq
One of Ireland's leading anti-war activists, may he RIP.
